MedStar Health: Medical Center at Leisure World Boulevard

I had an incredible experience with Medstar Health at Leisure World. I had a follow up appointment with Dr. Robert Gutman following a urinary procedure. Two days later I was experiencing problems. I walked in without an appointment and Lisa Wong in reception was amazing. She was kind, understanding and was able to get me in to see the medical assistants in the Urogynocology Dept. who were wonderful in checking and assisting me

Great doctor and grateful nursing service. Only four stars because of wait time. Arrived at 9:15 as instructed, left at 11:15. Saw the MA for five minutes and the doctor for another five minutes. An hour and fifty minutes waiting. Not fun or safe given the flu season.

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Yassin Mohamed and staff at MedStar. I found the staff to be both professional and cordial. They were helpful and efficient. Dr. Mohamed was extraordinarily responsive to my questions and various health issues. I am 77 and he took time to learn my health history and current concerns and to outline an approach to both preventive and remedial steps for the future. I was more than pleased with this initial appointment.

Met with Dr. Memoli regarding possible manifestation of side effects from combined usage of Rosuvastatin 20 mg 1/day, Lisinopril 30 mg 1/day and Leviracetam 1,000 MG 2/day 1 am and 1 pm. The possibility of supplement interaction was also discussed. I noted slight swelling of legs. Dr. Memoli ordered a Lower Extremity Venous Dopp Bilateral STAT. Going tomorrow for the scan. Praying all will be good. We decided to reduce selected meds dosage levels. Follow up pending test results. Thank you for caring.

Dr. Mamoli is wonderful. She listens respectfully, has a great bedside manner, and is very thorough. I also receive PT services and highly recommend Jessica.
