MedStar Health: Medical Center at Lafayette Centre

My primary Dr was booked for months in advance, and it was time for my annual exam. I usually have female doctors, and there was only a male doctor available. I decided to book my appointment with Dr. Crow. I was pleasantly surprised. He came into the exam room and was kind and engaging. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. I appreciated his willingness to listen to and review my medical history. He also had a great sense of humor and understood my health concerns. I left happy, especially seeing my primary Dr. Marragh as I checked out. I really love her and the staff! The best Medstar office in the DMV!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I put off seeing a cardiologist for three years. Every woman in my family has died from heart disease, my mother, my grandmother, my aunts, my sister. I knew I needed to be evaluated, and other doctors tried to get me there, but I was too afraid of what the results might show. I even had a hospital schedule a cardiologist for me after an ER visit, and I canceled because I wasn't ready. The fear of hearing bad news kept me from getting the care I knew I needed. Dr. Chukwurah changed that. He is the only doctor I felt comfortable enough with to finally walk through that door. When I tried to avoid appointments, his office followed up. I arrived 1 hour 30 Minutes before schedule time and was seen very fast. The surgery went very fast and wasn't painful because of the technique they used. Security is very punctual with transporting patients on the elevator. Receptionist are very friendly and helpful plus made sure all information detail was entered the tablet all at once. Great Team!!!

I am so fortunate to have Dr. Lager as my cardiologist. He is a consummate professional. He is exceptionally pleasant, easy to talk to and genuine. He listens intently when I discuss symptoms and ask questions. He provides thorough explanations which are easy to understand. As a result of his outstanding expertise, I know he will provide me with the absolute best possible medical care.

A very positive and encouraging experience. Dr. Grant (cardiologist) gets to the point quickly and makes me feel comfortable. He shows great concern for my health and overall wellbeing. The nursing staff and front desk ladies are knowledgeable and also share concerns. Dr. Grant and the Medstar staff are commendable for their outstanding professionalism and personal care.
