MedStar Health: Cardiology at Lafayette Centre

Doctors are less informed than their peers outside of medstar. Certainly less caring if you are after that trait specifically. Just overall I don't think medstar attracts the best doctors especially right out of med school. The care overall is not better than at smaller facilities or associations. Communication between doctors and their assistants is error ridden and a pain be involved in. Scheduling follow ups is inefficient, admins waste a lot of time and money. They don't check patients out after visits and getting referrals is an impressively complex task for them. It's your classic they don't understand the task they are given or they do that one thing they are asked to do wrong, cause other errors along the way, pretend they did the job when they didn't, lie about it and all that cl

The experience I have had at my Cardiologist and Device check department has been the best in this world my Doctors Allison Warren 2008 after retired she sent me to Dr.Shin and Heart doctor Dr.Kenneth Lee and Cardiologist staff are so great smiles and hugs remembering your name and the Checkout staff they take ownership with grace I am truly grateful and blessed for care from this wonderful team with God guidance I am alive and still standing 💕🌸💕 Patricia Fuller 💕🌸💕

My visit with Dr. Kenneth Lee was excellent. I arrived early and was taken back prior to my appointment time. The MA took all the preliminary information and performed needed tests prior to seeing Dr. Lee. When Dr. Lee arrived, he let me lead the conversation and together we came up with a plan to move forward. It was the way all patient-physician visits should go.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Check-in was quick, and the nurse who took my vitals was kind. Dr. Lee has an exceptional bedside manner. I’ve been coming this office for the past 6 years, and I love this place.

I generally been pretty pleased with MedSTAR cardiology however, I have to admit that I sent two emails a couple of weeks ago requesting a prescription change and I also made a phone call because I didn’t hear from the email and I am still waiting! They promised they’ll return an email in 1 to 3 days but I guess they mean weeks. So disappointing.
