Medical Arts Pharmacy

I love this pharmacy! They have always been professional and much faster than the other local chains. Prescriptions are filled quickly and I've never had to wait very long in the store. The counter help is always courteous and helpful, and the pharmacist is very knowledgeable and approachable with any questions. If they didnt't have an item in stock, they have ordered it and has been in the following day. They have also been very helpful with insurance questions.

The first positive comment would be that there was a real person to talk to when I called. After spending hours on the phone trying to get replacement insulin at other pharmacies my doctor contacted Medical Arts Pharmacy. I’m on vacation and discovered that I had left some of my insulin at home. The staff was very helpful communicating with my doctor and my insurance provider to solve the issue.

I try to support small businesses, understanding how corporatizing everything ultimately hurts us all. I've been using this Pharmacy for years. Through its old ownership when things were pretty great into new ownership where I've received incorrect medication multiple times, no show/call on med delivery, being thrown off my med schedule because this Pharmacy was unable to fill a prescription timely and or communicate. My final straw- yesterday I was attempting to fulfill a script for controlled substance. I just had surgery and have been on a narcotic pain reliever. When I ran out, I contacted my doctor to get more to get me through until my appointment next week. He sent the script, and this Pharmacy not only refused to fill it, but said nothing. Just awful. They called me on a Monday to see if I could wait a week for a refill or if I wanted to transfer my script. They said they’d call the other pharmacy. Wednesday I had to call back because the script didn’t get to the other pharmacy. They said they’d transfer it. But Friday the other pharmacy doesn’t have it yet. I call back on Saturday when they open…this time they tell me they never got my script at all! Then they offer to transfer my other script that they don’t have. You can guess what happened next. Then I call on Sunday and they tell me…”Well you have to have the other pharmacy call us that’s how it works. At this point I must have spoken to everyone at the pharmacy this is the first time anyone told me this. Total joke, I wouldn’t trust these guys with my meds a

My son’s medication had to be administered within 24hrs and all pharmacies were out, but medical arts had it! They called and got my son’s prescription transferred to them and filled it all within an hour. They’re amazing ! We’re so grateful
