MEDcare Urgent Care - North Charleston Westcott

I had a great experience with Medcare this past week. I was greeted by Robin at the front desk upon entering. She is very friendly which is so welcoming. Chyna was my Triage, she went through all the vitals and had a great attitude, she also performed the swab testing in my nose and throat and was very gentle with both. Aly was my scribe and also who delivered my results as she also brought me a mask. She relayed the information to me in a gentle way. She explained all the test that was performed and let me know that the Dr would be in soon. Dr Hilliard went over in details of what Aly explained along with what medication he would be sending to the pharmacy to make me well. They were all so nurturing and patient the whole way through. Excellent service. I definitely will be returning.

This Urgent care facility is the best place to go when you are in need!!!! I’ve been going here for 3 years & have been overly pleased every time!! 7/24 I saw Chelsie & she saved me, literally from a trip to the ER. I was sick!!! This visit, Shelby, was the Rick Star with all the things I needed to get back on my feet!!! There is this “check in” nurse that cannot be beat!!! I’ve never had such an entertaining check in & she gives the best shots!!! Barely feel a thing!!! I’m a big baby!!! So, fill in the blanks 😆 Even the X-Ray lady is awesome!!! Everyone here is just over the top awesome 😎 The reception ladies are the best also!!! This is the place with The Team!!! And now that I’m writing this…. I’m very bad with names. No one was in he waiting room but me. I was greeted as soon as I walked and was asked to fill out paperwork. I was called into triage then to the room. The Dr assessed me explained everything we talked about meds and a shot. Took care of that keptmefor a few minutes to watch for an allergic reaction of which I didn’t have. From beginning to end of visit everyone was very nice and will go back again if need be. Sorry no photos or videos as I felt horrible.

My husband and I went together, since we had been combating the same illness for over a week. We couldn't have gotten better service than we got! The front desk person was amazing, and even though we both felt awful, she made the check-in process quick and easy so we didn't have to wait long. We got in to see the doctor relatively quickly too and were on our way in no time. Thank goodness there's a place we trust that we can go when we're not near our regular doctor!

I was able to book my appointment in line. I was given all the preliminary tests and my vitals were checked before taking me to the examination room. Dr. Jones was very cordial and thorough. She gave me a peace of mind in her diagnosis. I am so happy that MedCare and it efficient staff was there for me and my family. I was the third in my household to be evaluated this week during this flu season!
