Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community

Meadows is a great home with great employees. They have excellent knowledge about Alzheimer's and dementia and are always looking to make new discoveries in this area. The residents they care for each day are their family away from home and they do an amazing job of caring for each one. This is a wonderful place for elderly family members to be! My great-grandmother was at Meadows for 2 and a half years and it was amazing the amount of care and love she received while she was there. She was given a great place to live with wonderful food and a comfy warm bed to sleep where she felt safe and loved. Meadows is a wonderful community consistently providing quality care to seniors. The staff are kind, compassionate and skilled at meeting the needs of the residents. I would not hesitate to place a loved one here.

In my time at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community I have seen the genuinely caring staff go above and beyond for their residents. Each person is given excellent care, and beyond that, respect. The community is beautiful and clean. The amenities are first class. Each staff member strives to personally connect with the residents!

My 92 year old father is a new resident Meadows. He is delighted with the care he is receiving. He said, "I can't believe how good these girls and guys here take care of me. Anything I need, they are there." As a daughter, I couldn't be happier with the care and compassion he's being shown while he is adjusting from being very independent to the care setting he needs. My mother is a resident at this facility and had a friend spend every day with her. One day when no family was with her, no qualified personnel was around and she fell out of her wheelchair. A couple days later, no family around, once again, one of the staff members somehow broke her bottom denture plate without reporting to anyone and hid them wrapped up in a rubber glove and put them in the far back of one her cabinet drawers. We cannot wait to get her moved to a safer facility with more qualified staff who can do their jobs properly. Other ratings have mentioned how clean the place is, however, I spilled a little of my water bottle while there and used a dry paper towels from the restroom attached and after wiping up that small area, the towel was completely black.
