MDSTAT Urgent Care

I took my wife there due significant pain and what appeared to be a cyst. They got her in quickly. The doctor was wonderful, and caused a sense of relief. He was knowledgeable, gentle, patient and professional. We both were very happy with him. I loved that the doctor was listening to jazz music and wore a hat that fit with his music. A good experience and we would not hesitate to return there.

I came in for help with weight loss. I've been having trouble with my own doctor getting treated for weight. So I decided to go here and saw Kyle. He reviewed my labs and discussed them with me. He explained that I can get the medications less than the normal pharmacy charges with a coupon. They also gave me the first month as samples and I will follow up next month with him again. My own Dr didn't explain this to me and still hasn't been able to get meds approved.

I brought my daughter here on a Friday night after she had been extremely sick for weeks hoping to be seen and diagnosed. The doctor thought it was pneumonia but wouldn't know for sure until an X-ray was done. The doctor referred me to a place in Folsom and told me they closed at 9:00pm. I drove all the way there and they were open but ONLY for CT scans and MRI's. X-rays are closed at 4:15. No where was open at 4:30 to have an X-Ray done. I was told there at imaging that the only place that does X-rays on a Saturday is in Carmichael. We drove all the way to Carmichael Saturday morning at 10:00 and had X-rays done. We were told by the nurse that it was marked urgent and we would know the results in 30 minutes. I called urgent care back around 12:15 and they said they didn't receive results

Great NP. Got the care I needed. She didn’t make me feel pressured or rushed. She listened attentively and was fun to talk to. Only thing is the wait was around 40 minutes. I brought a blanket and took a nap on the floor. It was a nice nap.

This place really changed after Dr Flores retired. The waiting is ridiculously long even if you are the only one sitting there and the new NP guy doesn't listen, nor does he care about you. He barely spent 2 minutes with my son and was visibility irritated about me asking simple questions. I wish Dr Flores was there... We will not return.
