MD Today Urgent Care

This clinic always runs smoothly for me. Wait times are reasonable (much quicker than most urgent cares), the reception staff is friendly and helpful, and the providers are competent and willing to listen. They are down to earth, knowledgeable, and very approachable - some of the best “bedside” manner I have experienced in an urgent care setting. I never feel rushed during my 1:1 time with the Drs/PAs, which is rare these days. They take the time to answer my questions and always offer a comprehensive plan to feeling better, not just scribbling a fast Rx and quickly ducking out the door to rush off to a new patient. My most recent visit was with Michelle Kostner (PA), and she was lovely and helpful. Highly recommend this clinic. Bonus: they keep it very clean!!!

We came in to get have an earring removed from my son’s infected ear on a Sunday. Our wait time was only about an hour. The entire staff from front desk, to med tech, to the doctor were all absolutely fantastic. The doctor was especially kind and explained exactly what she was doing start to finish. Very impressed by our experience here!

My daughter sprained her finger, and we wanted make sure it wasn’t broken. So on a Sunday morning I made an appointment for that afternoon and we were in and out with X-rays in 30 minutes with the good news that it wasn’t broken. The doctor was great, and all went smoothly.

Extremely disappointing experience. We came in with my daughter, who had a very high temperature and needed medical attention. The two young staff members at the front desk were unprofessional, dismissive, and rude from the moment we arrived. We were told we had to find another location because they were “busy,” yet there were only two people in the waiting room. What was even more concerning was that no guidance or direction was provided — no referral to another clinic, urgent care, or emergency room nearby. When a parent brings in a sick child with a high fever, the expectation is at least basic compassion and assistance. Instead, we were turned away without support or concern. I had my ears pierced a few weeks ago and woke up with a very swollen ear lobe that swallowed my pierced earrings...3 of them on one side. Hurt pretty bad, I'm visiting my father here in Rancho Bernardo so I had to contact my insurance company and they said here is a list near you. I called this Urgent Care Center first! Very professional Team including the receptionist, the triage expert and the care provider of the day! Outstanding job done by all! The care provider took out my embedded earrings without having to cut open, stich up my ear! I feel blessed! Thank you for a great experience in an Urgent Care Facility...honestly I've never had one till now!! You are all Awesome!! Thank you for your great service!!
