MD Now Urgent Care - West Delray Beach

I made an appointment online. It was very easy. When I arrived, as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted (Shay). I finished checking in and within minutes Rachel came to escort me to the room and do the vital checks. She was also very pleasant. The P.A. (Pearl) entered and very quickly diagnosed my symptoms. After she finished, a few minutes later, Rachel came back in and handed me the prescription paperwork. All in all, I was impressed. Thank you.

First visit here for what was luckily a minor issue. Late in the day, and felt lucky for a very minor wait. Pleasant staff greeting and easy enough sign in. The doctor on staff, was able to address my issue, and Glad I stopped by. Thanks, for being available, and I would not hesitate to return if the need should arise. Again, to get an appointment with my primary would not have been possible. Thanks so much. 🙂

We had just arrived in Florida to visit our parents. Our father was ill and stubborn. We convinced him to come to MD Now because their reputation is stellar. We were greeted by Shay who brought my father water and helped him to be comfortable in the waiting room. She took care of the forms for us. She had an amazing spirit that made everyone feel calm and cared for. Amber, the MA and Daniella, the PA were very helpful and treated him with care as they got to the medical issue he needed addressed. We are so grateful for the wonderful care he received.

Short wait 15 min NP very nice, however, failed to make clear explanation regarding the medications 💊 prescribed. I had to rely on the pharmacy to clarify the situation. They said not to take both at once but rather take one, and the other if the first didn’t produce positive results. I originally called the Urgent Care office to ask for clarification from the NP. She never got back to me. I was the second patient of the day, so not likely she was overwhelmed, just not through. STAY AWAY ….or take your chances!

Went in on a Sunday. Waited about 30 minutes, did not get much attention from either nurse or doctor. Staff area was around the corner from my exam room. I easily overheard them discuss me and other patients, joking about some, including reading their names out and discussing details of each case. I imagine all of this was very audible to other patients behind closed doors in the other exam rooms. Not only is this highly unprofessional, but it could also be a HIPAA violation since this was not strictly necessary conversation (for example, some judgments were made about another patient’s wife’s behavior which caused him to come into urgent care). I was reluctant to even come in given previous experiences like this at urgent care in the area, and this experience did not exactly give me the
