MD Now Urgent Care - Port St. Lucie Southwest

This location is typically easy to deal with in terms of getting in and out. I don't ever get the impression that anyone's in a hurry to get to the next patient but then again, I don't feel rushed either. Mark is the PA who is wonderful. He makes quick business of getting the vitals and is very pleasant. Doc K was very nice and seemed interested in my case. After a little investigation the best course of action was determined and I was on my way.

Today I went to an urgent care in absolute need because I wasn’t feeling well at all. I’m someone who rarely gets sick, and as a medical professional myself, I usually handle things with OTC meds rather than going to the ER or doctor. But today, I really needed help. I arrived at 8 AM for my scheduled appointment. The front desk greeted me, and since I had already filled out everything online, all I needed to do was pay my copay. I was told they don’t take Apple Pay or tap, even though the card machine clearly displayed the Apple Pay and tap symbols. That was strike one for me. Other than that, the front desk staff was polite. Once I was called back, a large Caucasian male MA opened the door, but didn’t even hold it for me — it literally almost closed in my face if I hadn’t caught it wit

My experience was not great and I didn’t make it pass the initial check-in. I was greeted by Arlene at the front desk who could not verify my coverage. I even attempted to help her because we share similar professions and the only resolution she had was for me to pay the self pay rate. Her system couldn’t verify and the insurance company was closed, as most are on Sundays. I attempted to help her and all, but my help went to deaf ears. So i left because i’m sick and just as i expected, I get a phone call from Arlene. Not with an apology, but as a “professional courtesy” in which was totally wrong. An apology should have been issued - we are not coworkers or on a joint team. I called the other MD now and of course, this isn’t the first time that this location has had this issue. The other M

I would recommend this Urgent Care, the receptionist was friendly and helpful, my waiting time was minimal. The nurse that took care of me was very pleasant and thorough. My experience with Dr K was great, he listened , we talked and he prescribed exactly what I needed. I’m glad I went after reading some of the other reviews. 😊

I had a great experience at MD Now Port St. Lucie Southwest. I walked in for a painful finger infection and was seen within 10 minutes. The staff were respectful, kind, and professional. They listened to my concerns and treated me quickly. I felt taken seriously and well cared for. Highly recommend!😇
