MCH Urgent Care JBS Parkway

We visited MCH Urgent Care in Odessa for my daughter due to high fever, fatique and red spots all over her body. The red spots were not itchy, which made us even more concerned about the cause. They performed flu, COVID, and strep tests. We were told she tested positive for flu and prescribed antiviral medication along with a steroid for the rash. When I asked for a copy of the actual test results to understand the basis of the diagnosis and why a steroid was prescribed to my child, I was told I could not receive them directly and was asked to complete a formal authorization form and get a medical record.. As a parent, being denied immediate access to my own child’s test results while medication is being prescribed is unacceptable. Parents have the right to understand what medical decision

I always go to this Urgent Care, the front desk is very kind, the wait time unless very packed is within reason. I went on Jan 23 my nurses and doctor were on it didn't waist any time with my issue. My doc was in the room before the nurse was done asking me questions, very attentive.

Absolutely disappointed… Came in for my 6m old check up and left with them telling me Bertha M Nunez can no longer see us bc “It has been clear that there has been a breakdown in trust between us” just bc i don’t want to vaccinate my baby due to religious beliefs and me rejecting things i believe is right for me and my baby. I asked for another doctor and was told i can no longer continue to go to that location when i have done ABSOLUTELY nothing at all…

Decent wait time. Dr. Abarra was very sweet to us and was great with my baby. Front desk was also sweet.

Very professional and quick. I was in and out in 30 minutes for sinus infection. Very good clean professional urgent care.
