I honestly don’t understand how this office has such high reviews, maybe it's because they're all from a decade ago and the practice has changed a lot since. But I’ve mostly heard negative experiences from people I know and from word of mouth. So consider this a fair warning if you are researching for a new orthodontist. My biggest issue isn't necessarily the doctor herself, but with how the office is run. The clinic is always overbooked, so it's always impossible to reschedule or get a decent time unless you're scheduling months ahead. The doc also splits time between two locations, so there's already a lot less time available for each location. The night before our morning flight to take my son to sleepaway camp, where he would be for a month, my son’s permanent appliance came loose and his regular orthodontist was closed. I Googled to find an orthodontist open early on Friday morning and Dr. McGrory was my option. I showed up unannounced at Dr. McGrory’s office first thing in the morning, no appointment and not a patient, and she immediately took my son back, happily fixed his retainer, and didn’t even charge me. She was so kind and efficient, as were her staff. She gave me options for me to decide if I wanted her to just remove the appliance or fix it. I asked that she fix it and she did. Such a lifesaver!

Dr. McGrory and Dr. McCarty + all the technicians and staff are all AMAZING! I came in on a referral from an adult friend and had high expectations and this office continues, even almost a year in, to exceed them! They’ve made my adult-braces experience fly by so far and are super warm and smiley from the front door to the chair where they work on me (quickly and painlessly, I must say!). They also go above and beyond to make sure my three tag-along children are entertained with movies in the front waiting room so that I can enjoy my time in the chair in peace. ;) It’s always a breeze scheduling my appointments and when I’ve had an orthodontic emergency they’ve found a way to squeeze me in! She may be my sister in law, but that really has no bearing on the fact that Dr. McGrory is awesome. Her staff is always very friendly and welcoming, the facility is awesome, and the work that she has done to correct my open bite allows me to eat a sandwich again! Appointment scheduling is super easy for either location, too!

I got a permanent retainer installed on my bottom teeth about 25 years ago. It finally broke, and I needed an orthodontist to help me decide whether to remove or replace it. McGrory Orthodontics got me an appointment the next morning. Dr. McGrory recommended removal, and got it done in about five minutes. All of the staff were very friendly and professional, and the facility was clean and modern. Masking and other COVID precautions were followed correctly. This seemed like it would be a good place to get braces. I was excited to learn that they have a little mouth scanner that eliminates the need for mouth molds, so the children of today no longer need to suffer through having a shovel full of goo shoved down their throats.
