I got a second opinion recently and learned that my molars are perfectly healthy and I do not need a deep cleaning. McDonough Dental Studio quoted me for $1000+ (out of pocket) worth of work that DO NOT need. Please avoid going here at all costs!

I recently contacted McDonough Dental Studio because I was dealing with severe tooth pain and urgently needed an extraction. From the very beginning, I explained that I needed an oral surgeon. I was told the earliest appointment available was a week away, so even though I was in intense pain, I booked it. When I called back to confirm, I was told there was no record of any appointment. They scheduled me again, and this time I received a text confirmation. I took a day off work to attend this confirmed appointment. When I arrived, the front desk told me there had been a scheduling error and that they were never informed about my visit. The worst front office ever and so unorganized. Canceled by son appointment when he arrived for his appointment after confirming the week before and gave him another appointment for the next day and then he get there and they do xrays then cancel the cleaning because they didnt get the approval from the insurance until the appointment time while doing the xrays. Then tell him that he can come back the next day for an appointment for his cleaning, so that will make 3 days in a row in the office for NOTHING, wasting gas and driving 30 miles.
