Dr. McConnell and his staff were fundamental to saving the vision in my left eye. When I made my appointment on line as a new patient, someone there quickly noted a red flag in my symptoms, called me, and asked that I come in immediately. Dr. McConnell quickly and accurately diagnosed a torn and detached retina. Even while I was still in the exam chair, his staff had already booked me an appointment with an excellent retina specialist in Jacksonville for that same afternoon! The retina specialist said several times it was so important I came in when I did. Everyone at Dr. McConnell’s practice has been pleasant, efficient, professional and invested in quality care. I was very impressed.

I was disappointed with my recent experience following a laser procedure on my eyes. After noticing a decline in my vision, I returned to the clinic to address my concerns. However, I felt that the staff prioritized collecting a $50 no-show fee over investigating and resolving my medical issues. I believe patient care should take precedence, and I was left unsatisfied with the way my situation was handled.

I definitely love coming here alway from Valdosta ga .He help me with the surgery I needed and I greatly appreciated that and will be coming back for my second surgery soon.a great staff he has and a wonderful doctor

Dr McConnell is an amazing Dr. He spends a great deal of time with you, explains everything, and is extremely knowledgeable. He has a great bedside manner. I have never had such a thorough eye exam and am glad I have someone to care for my vision needs. His staff is great as well. I recommend him highly.

Have been a patient of Dr McConnell for over a year. At my yearly visit, he found early stage Glaucoma. I was devastated and very scared. He explained treatment options and answered all of my questions. Dr McConnell is very compassionate and guided me to the best course of treatment for my eyes. I have just had a laser procedure he recommended. I will have the other eye done in a month and I feel very certain I am in great hands. His entire staff is great too!
