This doctor called my child “manipulative” and that she was faking her ADHD symptoms (which another doctor had already confirmed the diagnosis). She did this in front of my child making her cry, and then continues to say “it was a joke”. On top of this, they have you waiting for hours to be called in because they schedule a lot of people at the same time.

Dr. Capote was my pediatrician growing up, and now she sees my 3 kids. She’s still the absolute best! She is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and truly takes the time to listen and provide the best care. Her dedication and compassion have remained unmatched over the years. Carroll is also amazing! She is always so kind, professional, and helpful. The entire office provides such a welcoming and comforting environment. I wouldn’t trust my family’s care to anyone else!

Dr. Myra Capote is more than just a pediatrician, she is a truly remarkable human being. She was the pediatrician for my five older sons as they were growing up, and I will never forget the compassion she showed me when I was a teenage mom trying to raise my children. Whether or not I had a copayment, she always saw my kids without hesitation. She generously gave me medication samples to help me get through tough times and shared countless resources that made a huge difference in our lives. This doctor has become very commercial. I saw her as a child and now my kids do. I've had to hold me tongue for some time but I am so Infuriated at this point. My son has Autism and he NEEDS his reevaluation signed every 6 months in order to keep therapies running smoothly and all the doctor has to do is sign a paper that was faxed to her. I call today to ask why she hasn't signed it and the front desk tells me now that WE the patients have to basically give them a phone call to let them know something we need has to be signed even though they received it and it should be their job to be on top of things, because that is part of a job. I laughed and said well this must be new because I know she use to check on this by the end of EVERY day and get what needs to be signed done , now she says

Please go find a different Pediatrician. World Wide Pediatrics is where we came from and they were phenomenal. Due to insurance changes, we had to come here, and they didn't even touch my son during his annual exam. The Dr. may have been in the room 3 minutes and was only asking questions. When gettings screened for an eye exam, this facility lack the latest technology used in other offices to screen children who don't have the capabiities to hold a spoon over their eyes and read off the line. The testing was just marked off as complete my some individuals gaining practice hours. If you care about your children, their are way better options. Doral has a few good spots.
