Maynard Children's Hospital

We are incredibly grateful for the care my granddaughter receives at Maynard Children’s Hospital at ECU Health Medical Center. Each month she undergoes blood transfusions, and the compassion, professionalism, and expertise demonstrated by the entire team never ceases to impress. From the nurses and technicians who handle the procedures with gentleness and efficiency to the doctors who take the time to explain everything clearly and answer all our questions, we feel supported and understood every step of the way. The hospital environment is calm, clean, and kid-friendly, which helps make a challenging experience a bit easier for our family. Thank you to everyone involved for your dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to my granddaughter’s health. You truly deserve all the praise

Maynard Children's Hospital,is certainly, fantastic ! One of the best in the World 🌎! Truly is a gem of the health community facilities. The Hospital has a superb, caring , friendly & very knowledgeable Staff. The current rating, during my visit, was extremely high, which is very important, especially when your loved ones ; are patients.....

During this traumatic experience I’m so thankful for all the staff that treated my daughter at this hospital. They were all respectful, courteous, caring, professional and overall amazing. Blake is a wonderful RN that took excellent care of my daughter and interacted very well with her. Amanda and Caitlyn were also great nurses. There were so many that it’s hard to remember all their names but I’d definitely recommend this hospital to others for pediatric care.

Hospital Staff, nurses, doctors and midwives were exceptional! Provided support, reassurance and care during labor and aftercare. Hospital rooms linen sheets and blankets had hair, stains and tears on them as if we were accommodated at the Motel 6. Room sanitation and cleanliness absolutely terrible. Community shower did not work at all during my stay; water was very cold.

We had a walk-in appointment for my almost 3 year old to get bloodwork done. Everyone was friendly and helpful from the moment we walked through the doors. The wait wasn’t super long, even for a “walk-in” which didn’t have a specific time. Even with my child’s strong fear of anything to do with the doctor, they did a good job distracting, and then helping to hold her to very quickly get a blood draw that didn’t even leave a bruise! It’s clear they all know what they’re doing and are determined to put children at ease and get the job done as smoothly as possible. Communication was clear with all of us and results were fast.
