Maxfield Medical Urgent Care

We went on black Friday it was wonderful we checked in were seen in aboutn15 minutes everyone was very nice and got us in out fast . My granddaughter had a bad tooth ache and the dentist was closed . She was scared and they made her feel at ease. We left feeling well taken care of and will be going back when we get sick. Thanks for the help.

The clinic was clean, the staff friendly, and the office efficiently run. The physician”s assistant, Lisa Pietrangelo, conducted a thorough exam and then patiently listened to my concerns. Due to a low grade fever, lingering cough and continuing laryngitis (after 8 days of illness), she prescribed an excellent antibiotic and an effective cough suppressant. I especially like how she asked about allergies and other issues, and then changed one of her recommendations because of my answer. She did not have access to my medical history, but gave me exactly what I needed. I got my voice back yesterday and am on the road to recovery thanks to the good care at Maxfield medical. Thank you team!

First, very impressed with lobby area..very clean. Second, glad you see a receptionist to greet you rather than a kiosk when you first walk in. And, everyone from Crystal and Emma to receptionist were very nice, pleasant and professional. If you need an urgent care emergency facility, this is my go-to place.

I’m very disappointed with this urgent care. This practice has a serious lack of billing transparency. While the NP I saw was kind and professional, Maxfield Urgent Care failed to inform me that my bloodwork would be sent to an out-of-network laboratory. I was not given a choice of lab and was not warned that this could result in significant out-of-pocket charges. Because of this failure, I received a $300+ lab bill for services I did not knowingly consent to being out of network. This is unacceptable. Patients should be clearly informed before testing is done if labs are being sent elsewhere and may not be covered by insurance. I am giving this practice one star solely due to their lack of disclosure and poor billing practices. I strongly caution other patients to ask detailed question

We traveled to Atlanta during Christmas break and had to visit urgent care for our child. The staff was very helpful and courteous. They were able to run flu, strep, and COVID tests to quickly pinpoint the issue, and the doctor prescribed medication that helped him recover faster. Everyone was kind, patient, and great with kids. Thank you for the excellent care!
