Dr. Steuer was recommended by an Orthopedic Surgeon friend. Dr. Steuer, Cooper Carter PA-C, and August MA, are a fantastic team. I had an ALIF and PLIF, which also required a General Surgeon. I was up and walking 5 hours after a 4 hour surgery. Out of Northside in 2 days and pain medication free in 5 days, 4 incisions healed perfectly in 2 weeks. Dr. Steuer did an absolutely amazing job. I am 3 weeks post op and virtually pain free, I am actually back at work. I cannot say enough about Dr. Steuer and the team of professionals that work with him. My “easy” recovery was completely because of his abilities as a surgeon.

I have been a patient of Dr Steuer’s for about 8 years. I had ongoing pain in my cervical neck, C3-C5. Dr Steuer has always been upfront and honest about the surgical process and what to expect, but he always left the decision up to me to decide when I was ready. Dr Steuer and his team were very thorough with assessing my situation and answered all my questions and concerns. The entire experience was truly amazing. If I needed anything, they were there to take care of me. In hindsight, I should have had the surgery long before my increasing pain, but was very nervous about the surgery. Dr. Steuer, Carter, August, Lisa, the entire office staff were remarkable! Spent soooooo much time explaining, making me and my husband feel comfortable with the process. They were always 1 step ahead! Very responsive when calling the office; little wait time in office; and always made you feel Like you were their priority. Dr Steuer is a remarkable surgeon. I choose him because of his incredible reputation and had already high hopes, but his compassion and kindness, his amazing team Dr Cooper Carter, August , Lisa , front desk ladies, and, than , walking the very first day almost pain free, sleeping trough the night symptom free, recovering from a major surgery in less than a week, the peace of mind that came with his presence pre and post surgery visit , the exceptional professionalism and ability to make me understand the process is priceless. Dr. Steuer, Carter Cooper PA, and August the Medical Asst. are knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate. They are very thorough in diagnosis and explaining the best course of treatment. The give you the feeling of extreme confidence in the process leading up to surgery. This team has been together for over 30 years which speaks for itself!
