Matthews Family Dentistry

My family has been coming here for 17 years. We always receive great service and everyone is super kind. They are always so busy, so if you have to reschedule your visit you will have to wait months to get another appointment. Since our hygienist left a few years ago it does not seem I can get the same hygienist each time. Every hygienist I have gotten though has been really sweet. The only reason for 4 stars is because the music is way too loud in the office. I am not sure about anyone else, but when I come to the dentist I am always a bit nervous. Soft calming music would be much better. Just my opinion, but we do love this practice.

I have had a wonderful experience with Matthew’s Family Dentistry in the two months that I’ve used them as my provider. I moved to Matthew’s over the summer and decided to take advantage of my dental insurance to schedule a cleaning, but prior to the cleaning they discovered two cavities. I had some complications with my teeth after the cavities were taken care of, and the follow up visits were handled quickly and efficiently. The entire office staff has been so kind to me with all my random pop-ins when I had follow up visits or questions about my insurance coverage. I highly recommend Matthew’s Family Dentistry!

Visited Matthews Family Dentistry on 12/13/2024 for a routine cleaning and encountered an extremely rude, abrupt hygienist who showed zero professionalism, respect, empathy, or basic courtesy. She talked over me, ignored my discomfort, and made the appointment downright hostile. Worst dental experience of my life—after years as a patient, I’m gone for good. Update: In June 2024, during a routine cleaning, the practice double-billed my insurance. I had to coordinate with both the insurance company and the practice to resolve it, and finally got my second routine cleaning scheduled—a frustrating and time-consuming process. I recently visited Matthew’s Family Dentistry, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt genuinely cared for and respected. After not seeing a dentist for five years, I was understandably nervous—but the entire team immediately put me at ease. My dentist was absolutely amazing. He was kind, attentive, and truly took the time to listen to my concerns. His humor and warmth made the entire visit enjoyable, and I could tell he took his responsibility seriously when it came to my care. I felt like I was in excellent hands from start to finish.
