Mattapan Health & Rehabilitation Center

Our family member had been a long standing resident at Mattapan Health & Rehab and many of the staff had been there with her for decades. We appreciate all that the staff has done for her and the patience and care they showed her and our family throughout her many years there. Special thanks to all the staff who took care of our family member especially Nurse Maggie, who managed her with consistency and patience day to day for almost 20 years, and Avril the activities director for over 20 years of planning trips, holiday events and daily activities. The staff at Mattapan Health & Rehab were like family and our family really appreciates and recognizes them for all they did.

The nursing staff was amazing and so was activities. I appreciate everything that was done for me and everyone that made it possible. I will truly miss the staff, they treated me with such kindness and respect. -LLJ

I have a cousin, that’s was admitted to MHR. I have visited him several times in the last few weeks. He is always neat and clean. All the staff that I have met have always attended to his needs as well as mines. Chris, is coming out of his shell, when I am there I notices his interactions with staff, and that is very positive. Mattapan Health and Rehab has wonderful staff that really care about the residents there. It is on the bus line which is very helpful and has a strong Haitian community with Haitian Creole speaking staff.

Mattapan is a great facility, the staff have been there for years, and they know the residents very well. The staff are kind and caring and treat the residents with dignity and respect.
