Mateer Scott, DDS - Long Island Straight Smiles

It’s unfortunate I didn’t get to see this doctor but his staff, an elderly woman who picked up was so nasty. She told me she couldn’t look up my information with my social. Wouldn’t help me but had an appointment for me. Then said she needed a physical copy of everything which is highly inaccurate. You can look everything up by socials, DOB’s and names.

Dr Mateer and his staff are beyond amazing! So friendly, efficient and consistent with their schedules, always available for emergencies. So lucky to have found an incredibly compassionate orthodontic team!

My oldest has been seeing Dr Mateer for a few years now and we absolutely love him. He is super friendly and knowledgeable. The staff is also great and appointment visits are quick. My younger son started to be evaluated last year and it was such a relief to have an ortho who wasn’t quick to put braces or a pallet expander on just because we came for a consult. Love this place.

Dr. Mateer is really awesome. He is caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. His office is beautiful, very clean and modern. The staff is outstanding and courteous. The appointments are booked properly so there is never a wait. If you want a beautiful smile I highly recommend Dr. Mateer!

My two children are patients of Dr. Mateer. He is the most likeable, fun, patient and all around excellent doctor. The kids love him and are very comfortable in his care. The office is run very efficiently, is kid-friendly and the staff is so great and accommodating! We are so happy to have found Mateer Orthodontics!
