Mat-Su Urgent Care Palmer

Whenever possible Urgent Care is so much faster and more pleasant than the emergency room! From the receptionist, medical assistant, to the doctor; everything went smoothly. From checking in to walking out I was there about 45 minutes.

If i could leave no stars I would. The girl at the front counter is very rude and unprofessional. She shouldn't be in her position. She had a crappy attitude when people were talking through the door. They see people as a dollar bill walking through there doors not as a patient and wanting to help. I will never ever step foot in there urgent care again. First time being there and it'll be my last time. I've lived up here since 1991 and for it being a medical place i was not impressed. Go somewhere else and avoid the palmer location.

If i could give them 0 stars i would. The staff was great but me and my mom made an appointment and didn’t get seen until an hour and a half later. They told us they do walk ins first which doesn’t make sense because appointments should always be taken first. Will not be going here again.

DO NOT GO HERE. Please do not waste your time! My husband cut his hand and had a gaping laceration that was actively bleeding, possibly needing stitches and antibiotics. We waited for 30 minutes despite being the only patients there. They called him up to the counter and said "unfortunately, our doctor says we're unable to treat you because our protocol requires you to have an x ray, and we don't provide those here." They refused to even look at him, and we were forced to go somewhere else. This place is a scam, and if your injury won't pay enough, they'll deny you care. Even when you're actively bleeding.

I had an amazing experience here! Every person I interacted with in person and over the phone was so kind and helpful, and I was seen very quickly. The provider I saw was Hillary Linden. She took my condition seriously, asked questions and explained everything, and was thorough in her diagnostic and treatment plan. I left feeling reassured and grateful for the excellent, effective care!
