Massapequa Hospital for Animals, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner

I have always been skeptical of vets because of what my late dog, went through before he passed. So getting the best care without feeling like I am being slammed with a huge bill at the end was very important for my current dog. I wanted him to be seen as a patient and not an itemized bill. And Massapequa Hospital for Animals did gave me that! They eased my anxiety about vets and gave my baby the best care possible and made the process so much easier. They were so accommodating and friendly and loving towards my pet and made things easier with billing with my pet insurance. Highly recommend them, especially if your pet needs to be seen same day.

The staff is always caring and attentive. Dr. Pacchiano is warm, knowledgeable and responsive. She returns my calls if I have a question. And she is genuinely concerned about the well being of the animals. Overall, I am very happy with the care my two dogs receive. I highly recommend.

Massapequa Hospital for Animals is truly a blessing for our sweet dog! They treat him like family. Dr. Pacchiano, Amanda G., all the vet techs, receptionists, and anyone we’ve encountered treats our dog like their own. As a rescue, and dog with some extra medical needs, we’re there relatively frequently. I know they always go above and beyond to help him and ensure he gets the best care!

Massapequa Hospital for Animals was incredibly kind and compassionate when we had to say goodbye to our dog. The vet and staff treated him so gently, even though it was their first time meeting him, and gave our family the time and space we needed to grieve. They were truly sympathetic and caring during one of the hardest moments, and the private cremation option was also much more affordable than at other offices. We’re very grateful for the care and dignity they showed him and us.

Totally do not recommend especially Dr. Anzalone. She didn’t even know what leg to give a shot to my puppy. Inexperienced and would never let her touch my dog again. I do not know where she got her license from. I specifically requested another dr to spay my dog. She completely lied and ended up doing the surgery, I had no idea until after. There was a complication with the surgery, that I only found out because I requested my dogs paperwork so I can transfer her to a new vet. Now she needs another spay surgery because Dr. Anzalone had no idea what she was doing.
