Massage Therapy by Kate LMT

I walked in today with severe lower back pain. Kate targeted the area and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. This is not light relaxing massage, if you want that go elsewhere. If you are in pain and want relief, this is the place to go. Price is great compared to others in the area.

I just walked out of a massage with Kate a few minutes ago and want to clarify that I walked out yet had limped in. I had been suffering from some kind of pinch in my lower back for 2 weeks. I told her where the pain was and she immediately went to work in other areas, figuring out the root of the pain, then focusing on a few areas I had not imagined could be related. I was blown away when it was all said and done...walking out of there the pain was gone and there was no chiropractic-type popping during the session, just directed deep pressure work. I will say that my massage was therapeutic...if I had come in for a soft "pretend" massage to make me feel all snuggly and warm, I would have been disappointed. Glad to have found this practice to experience unique yet relaxing massages performed by Kate and Ann. They use traditional Yinyang techniques into their unique massages. Although differ from general massages I was able to feel relaxed and my neck pain was also eased. Kate could sound demanding at first but as you come more often she’s fine.

A massage with Kate was a lot different than expected. I was really grateful she could get me and my friend in last minute. We asked for Swedish massages but she said her massages would be different and something we would never forget. I had many knots in my body and I felt really sore and painful when she was working them out. Kate worked on my friend a little easier and she didn’t have as much pain. Kate explained her method, experience, and why I felt so sore. My muscles felt loose and I was sore but overall ok. As the day progressed, I felt more pain and soreness in the problem areas she was digging into. My friend said she noticed swelling at the top of my neck and red bruises on my back. Kate says her massages are more for people with medical issues and other muscle pain. Definitely

Good quality massage. However, if you’re looking for a deep tissue massage, this is not it. Kate was a nice lady, I went in specifically for deep tissue massage, it was not delivered. She believes in her traditional massage being superior and better than a regular deep tissue. I feel relaxed but my muscles are not completely worked on and are still tight. I wouldn’t go again for deep tissue. Ps. They make you pay upfront and asks you for a tip, even if you don’t tip in the beginning, they’ll ask for it at the end. Which is not how it should be. Tip is earned, not freely given.
