I've been attending this doctor now for roughly about 6 years, and had an amazing luck with them. They were always very understanding and quick to get to me. On 12/22/25 They scheduled me for a physical on 1/8/26, they called me on 12/30/26 and left a message that unfortunately my doctor would not be available on that day and I would have to reschedule, This was fine. I called back on 1/1/26 to reschedule. Upon this phone call I was let know that unfortunately there didn't seem to be anything available coming up, so she would have to get back to me. On 1/2/26 I received a message via MyChart saying that scheduling me was not possible as they were booking out until at least 2027. I received no phone call back like I was told I was supposed to. My open letter to DFM: I’m reaching out today to offer my perspective as one of your patients’ partner. My partner, (redacted), has been suffering from some sort of respiratory illness for the past two weeks, as have our two year-old son and I. Specifically, I’d like to focus our struggle to get Megan a new inhaler for her underlying asthma, which greatly exacerbates her illness. The low point in this situation for me was the 24 hours in which I tried desperately and unsuccessfully to comfort and distract our son while his mother repeatedly wheezed herself crosseyed and blue, and coughed until she threw up. Relocated to the area relatively recently so I called to become a patient because I was informed this location is accepting new patients. I spent 36 minutes on the phone waiting to register as a new patient. I was then transferred to scheduling to wait on hold for another 14 minutes only to find out that “they are scheduling appts into 2028 but are unable to see those dates to provide me with an appt”. This is such a small town and there is nowhere else to go. Do not call thinking you can be a new patient. Don’t move here expecting good AVAILABLE healthcare.

I have been a patient of Joanne Michonski's for many years. The past few years I have been having the same recurring issues come up. Joanne thought it was time for some deeper testing to get to the root of these recurring issues. I was going to drag my feet (as i have in the past) but this time I decided Joanne knows best and what she is saying makes total sense. I did have the test done and it came back that I had an underlying issue. But that underlying issue had another underlying issue on top of it, which was a life threatening matter!!! Joanne Michonski is my hero and 100% cares deeply for her patients!!!

This medical practice is amazing! I normally see Jamie Scott and she is an extremely knowledgeable, caring, and respectful medical practitioner. Her demeanor is always upbeat and pleasant. She always makes time to listen to me during visits whether it is a wellness check-up or a sick visit. I really can’t say enough about the overall quality here. Even when I’ve had to see a different provider my experience has been positive. This is a top notch medical practice.
