Mass General Brigham Harbor Medical Urgent Care

Dr Parker would not give me physical therapy referral even after I told him I was in a serious car crash. He told me to do gentle neck stretches. Turns out my neck joints were swollen and my upper back muscles were so tight PT wanted to use dry needling. I had to make another appointment on main campus to get referral. Doctor on main campus agreed with me. I was absolutely 💯 dismissed. I wasted time and money and work because of mgh urgent care doctor. My car bad over $2000 dollars damage. Gentle neck stretches advice was a complete joke. Update: I had to return for a knee injury. Waited for 1 1/2 hours with hurt knee. Dr Parker said it was their new system that made it a long wait wait. Didn't want Dr Parker again but he apologized for last vist. Ok then he said I had arthritis from k

My wife went in with stomach pain, burning urination, nausea and was turned away because they are busy?!?! This is the urgent care that is in our insurance network and that all of our doctors can easily access notes for further treatment. Terrible patient care.

Emily at the front desk is the kindest soul I have spoken to in a medical setting in so long. She gave great advice for my next steps as someone without health insurance. Had me crying happy tears on the phone! Thank you thank you thank you!

Excellent care re: recent visit and prior visits. Clinicians were pleasant, listened and clearly explained diagnoses and treatment, which were spot on. reasonable wait times- no more than 30 minutes.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience here. Emily at the front desk is amazing, and I was always treated with respect and kindness from the nurses and doctors!
