i just left mlk hospital as my brother is there. 510A. and when i tell you the care and service that he got was exemplary!! shouts out to: dr. grace dinkins,eflego/rn, laureen dozier/patient ambassador, veronica/diabetes care program,, stephanie/rn,britney/nurse asst/pcp care management, aparna/care management, and jacklyn/dietary. They were all wonderful, and gave the best personal and professional service. they all really knew they’r their stuff too!!!! a MILLION stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! i would say the home care nurse(s) should be better. my brother waited 4 more hours after i left after 3 hours to be told (after all that time) that the nurse would call him. and this after being told that he wouldn’t get care if he didn’t see/speak to the home care nurse if he left. now TH

STAY AWAY FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO ACTUALLY GET HELP. I went 2/17/2026 for a gallbladder attack they let me go home same day. Ok so in 2/21/2026 the pain persists and I had to go back and I was admitted this time into the hospital. Keep in mind I didn’t get a room until Sunday Afternoon. they had me in the hallways waiting for a room. Once I got the room they were helpful the first few hours then after it would take them hours to respond to my calls even for water or pain meds. They would never update me on my health issues either. I was just in pain but they would just say they will message the doctor. They told me a surgeon would see me Monday evening. The surgeon never came i never saw a doctor after being taken upstairs it was impossible to know what was wrong with me because they were

My client, over 60, wheelchair-bound, with colon cancer, came to MLK Hospital for shortness of breath. He asked to use the bathroom—no fall risk precautions were taken. He fell trying to stand, only afterward receiving a wristband. Basic safety and human dignity were ignored. Social worker Elizabeth responded aggressively when I tried to follow up, and charge nurse Julio offered no accountability. Questions about the patient’s well-being were met with hostility and dismissiveness, not care. This hospital prioritizes procedure and profit over human life. A vulnerable patient nearly injured in their care had to fight just to be treated like a person. MLK Hospital urgently needs accountability, proper safety protocols, and a complete rethink of how it treats its most vulnerable patients. I

I came in around five in the morning because I was throwing up and dry heaving, and I was pooping myself and then they did a CT scan and x-ray and then they did a EKG and then you give me a narcotic for the pain and something for the nausea and so I fell asleep. I fell asleep for four hours. 8-9 hours later the doctor has not checked on me, I ask my nurse for something for the fever and she replies I have to ask the doctor. I’m also thirsty and hungry and the nurse said I have to ask the doctor. I’ve been here 9 hrs and nothing yet. Expect longer than usual times. And slow treatment. They will treat you after 12 hrs.

Save lives and just close this hospital down. I came in because my pinky toe started hurting a month ago and over the last 2 weeks gotten worse. Last night my pain shot up to a 8-9 so i came here. First lady took my blood pressure and pulse and asked me if I had trouble breathing I told her right before I came in that i felt like i was finna faint and got really hot. I continue getting checked it. Got called again told him about my foot and he asked if I injured and or not. Told him no gave my story again. He admitted me and I went inside. Talked to another doctor about my foot told her the same thing. Both doctors who looked at my foot never really looked at it. Just said “ohhh swollen” they didn’t touch it or anything. And everyone i saw they kept telling me how they were gone get me out
