Martin Kids Dental of Lake City

At first I was iffy about this place. Dentist made a comment as if parent shaming me for something out of my control. I called and spoke to them about what happened because if was still bothering me after I got home. Dr Matt called me personally ( the Dr who said comment) and apologized and made sure I was ok and he didn’t mean it that way. After the conversation with him I felt like we had an understanding. Haven’t had a problem since. Staff has been nice although sometimes loud when they come to the lobby to give you their “report card” and explain hygiene. Everyone can hear and believe me they stare at whoever the staffs talking to. One of my sons sees the ortho side and Dr Martin can be a bit rude but she’s older and set in her ways. More like a business personality. “Just get it done”

I was hesitant about leaving this review since we have been here in the past and had good experiences. But our last visit will be the last. The dental hygienist who was cleaning our son's teeth asked my son to raise his hand if it hurt. He raised his hand during the cleaning and I watch her push his hand down and say "Not now buddy." It was the first time he raised his hand during the cleaning. About 5 minutes later he raised his hand again and she grabbed his arm and said "Don't touch me!" But he hadn't touched her. I told her that he was only doing what she asked him to do and that he didn't touch her. There was a long pause and then she said kids raise their hands like that and have grabbed her before. That's no excuse to grab him so hard that we saw bruises on his arm following that e

Fabulous experience, great orthodontic team! My son’s braces were on and off within 2 years, his crossbite and overbite were a thing of the past! Beautiful smile, thank you all so much! A dental assistant even made a weekend trip to the office to secure a loose wire after one of my son’s brackets popped off. The office staff were also super helpful and informative when billing issues arose between my insurance and my son’s father’s. Best service!

The staff and desk clerk is rude. They act like they hate their life and it’s a problem to be talking to you. They have you sign what feels like a million pieces of paper. One of which they DO NOT explain or call out is that they are out of network for literally ALL insurance companies. Meaning standard check ups and procedures that should be free or less then $100 is costing my family $300-$400 we don’t have. Please don’t go here, spend your money elsewhere.

Cass was amazing, she made my 7 year old daughter feel so comfortable. Talking to her the whole time and also letting her know everything she was doing and how beautiful her teeth are. She was also seen by Dr. Matt who was also great. My daughter even asked when she gets to come back. Highly recommend!
