Dr Getelman and his team were top notch from top to bottom in my experience. Everything from scheduling, to pre-op communication, to day-of last minute questions to post-op followups were handled with professionalism and ease by every member of the team. Dr Getelman was able to clearly explain what the recommended surgery was, why it would help, what recovery would look like and how he would make any last minute determinations on exactly how to fix my issue. He answered all my questions clearly, concisely and with respect. I was on crutches for two months before surgery; I was off them two days after surgery. :-)

I have been dealing with snapping scapula for 3 years, went to multiple orthopedics who honestly wasted my time, finally I found Dr Lin at Irvine orthopedics who pointed me to Dr Getelman because he specializes in snapping scapula. He carefully reviewed almost a dozen different mris I brought to him and an emg, he did a thorough clinical evaluation and finally gave me some conclusive information about my condition, he explained that my snapping scapula is likely being caused by my loss of cervical lordosis which is contributing to thoracic outlet syndrome. He referred me to Dr gelabart who I will be seeing mid march. Dozens of other orthos missed this loss of lordosis. Thanks to Dr gelabarts expertise I finally have a light at the end of the tunnel, I have been improving and getting strong

Dr Gettleman did an excellent job with a very complicated surgery of repairing my rotater cuff and reattached my bicep tension. Minimal pain and after about 3 months almost full range of motion!
