I am posting this review so that other parents sent here may give Dr. Kubichek the benefit of the doubt and not just assume based on the reviews as I initially did. My son and I actually had a good experience at this office. My son was sent to this office by his school, and is a teenager. The office manager was polite and kind and held friendly conversation with my son. The office is clean and organized. Dr. Kubichek greeted my son, was friendly, explained everything she was doing and gave additional explanations when there was a question he didn’t understand. She did not rush through our appointment and was thorough taking her time through each assessment. At the end of the appointment she offered my son a treat and wished him a happy birthday as his birthday is approaching soon. Though

I really wish I would have read these reviews before subjecting myself and my daughter to this practice. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Kubicheck. Her communication is poor, she presents as judgemental, and condescending. She did not take my or my daughter’s concerns seriously and implied my teen does not try hard enough at school. The office prioritizes billing and will nickel and dime you. Attempted to charge $75 for a form letter and refuses to include the diagnosis on any forms - despite prescribing medication. When I asked about potential side effects of the medication, her response was ineffective. She orders a battery of tests with no clinical indication of need or explanation of her rationale. She is not supportive, collaborative, or culturally competent.

Something just seems off about this whole office. I feel it's more about the money than helping the patients. The office makes sure to get the payment before the doc even steps into the room and will charge you the same rate without checking back in with your insurance to see if your deductible has been met. Made sure to demand payment when I owed them but could care less that they overcharged me. When the doctor was in our presence (whether in person or teledoc), she seemed to be really bothered by us. All she says is that she would like a follow-up in 3 months without even giving any updates at the current appointment. I take my son to see Dr Kubichek and she has always been exceptional. I had stopped taking my son to her for about six years because he did not have anything going on that needed follow up and as soon as he had an issue recently she and her staff were beyond accommodating to get me in to see her for an emergency appointment. She really took her time to sit and talk with us and go over everything. Dr Kubichek put in the time and effort to address my son’s situation and made me feel comfortable when I left there. She is amazing!!!

Dr. Kubichek was not only highly knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly compassionate and attentive to my daughter's needs. She took the time to thoroughly assess the situation, explain the diagnosis, and provide an effective treatment plan.
