I don't know where to start. As a freshman in the nursing program completing my first semester I wish I knew the benefits of enrollment sooner. You don't simply get an education, you get mentorship, friendship, support and outreach for a sense of community/belonging and scholarship from the educators. My most recent memory of this school is just this weekend I sent my instructors a thank you email for a wonderful enriched semester and simply cced the president of the college, who would expect her to respond or acknowledge, it was a small gesture and formality to show I wanted the instructors actions and goodwill to be widespread and pervasive. Well on a Sunday evening our wonderful college president personally responded with the most uplifting personalized message that highlighted and ceme
Believe everything you read! They just want your money, they’ll require you to retake gen ed courses even if you already have a degree that don’t even relate to the program. Nobody knows what they’re taking about so get everything in writing! If they don’t have an answer they result to ignoring you or giving you snarky remarks. Admissions sucks school sucks R U N they’re so many better opportunities that actually have your best interest at heart
12 years ago, I applied to the nursing program at this school and was rejected because of one low grade in an anatomy and physiology class (which I was taking at this school) because I had a terrible professor and like other more recent reviews have noted, no support from administrative staff when I tried to get help and report the professor for not actually teaching. I had A's in all my other pre-requisites. 12 years later, I graduated with a bachelor's degree and two master's degrees with a 3.98 overall GPA from an esteemed university in the south. Yet this school felt I wasn't "good enough" for their ADN program. Here's my "Pretty Woman" moment. You work off tuition, don't you?
Great place to get a degree in the nursing or healthcare field.
This school did not prepare me at all for what I have encountered in the real world providing occupational therapy. They just wasted my time with arts and crafts and not teaching me how to transfer patients and stroke recovery and PNF patterns and ESTIM and ugh. This school is a waste of time and money, I have learned far more from actually being in the field. The teachers there obviously haven’t treated an actual patient in ages!!!! Their methods are sooooo old and outdated just like the rest of the college.
