Margaretville Hospital

This hospital is responsible for the death of my family member. They neglected him due to his size and let him get bed sores and infection which ultimately led to his death. Their only concern was his weight and every conversation we had with them revolved around his weight and not his health. It was impossible to get through by phone to them and they should be held liable for his passing. Absolutely disgusting. DO NOT send your loved ones here.

This hospital was wonderful. My son had a snowboarding accident on Saturday and we took him to the Margaretville Hospital. From check in to check out the process was great. PA Edward Patrick was very thorough , and had a wonderful bedside manner. The nursing staff and Radiology technician were great as well. Thank you !

This hospital is responsible for my brothers death. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE! The staff did NOT want to help, blamed everything on his weight and neglected him for his size. Every SINGLE update we got from hospital staff was ‘HE NEEDS TO LOSE WEIGHT’ they did not rehabilitate him like we were told they would, they let him get bed sores and infection which ultimately led to his death. Disgraceful!! Should be held liable!! Was sent here by WESTCHESTER HOSPITAL IN VALHALLA SO THEY WOULDNT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS CARE! This is a tiny hospital that was not equipped to help him and even within the means of what they COULD do they were uneducated and unwilling to help!

I am submitting this for a friend of mine Vinnie R who had a stroke and was transferred to Margaretville for treatment. This facility has to have the greatest staff of any hospital I ever visited. He was treated like a celebrity and from what I saw that is how all patience are treated. Nurses he has is second to non and the physical therapy persons great. They knew how to get the best out of him and had him working through his treatment with enthusiasm. Hospital deserves 10 stars. From doctors to food service all great and all have a smile.

This hospital is the best! I had to get my first ever rabies vaccine series & I have an immense fear of needles. I was literally frightened for my life! The nurses & staff were so kind to me & had the absolute best bedside manner that it really helped me to not totally freak out. They had so much compassion & empathy which Im not used to. I appreciate them so much for making this experience better for me. The Dr., Dr Brian ( forgot his last name ) was incredibly kind & patient with me. This experience could have been so much worse, but because of the effort they put into making it better makes this hospital so great!
