Highly recommend Marco Veterinary Hospital! I brought my dog Gunnar in for a much-needed dental cleaning (I admittedly put it off longer than I should have), and they were truly incredible from start to finish. The team was professional, gentle, and so loving with him. Gunnar is a shy dog, and they made him feel safe and comfortable right away, while also easing my own anxiety about the process. I’m so grateful for the caring staff and thankful to have a vet we trust for our family. If you’re looking for a compassionate, knowledgeable veterinary clinic in Marco Island, this is the one.

I brought TBD (now Oliver) a local stray at our community in to be checked for a chip and to verify he was fixed. I ended up getting him rabies and distemper shots and having him checked for feline leukemia. Dr Parkinson and the vet techs were wonderful and very caring. I would love to keep this handsome, loving and full of personality boy but I really can’t so I will be listing with a couple shelters soon and continue to foster him until I find him the right home. I was back again this time with my girl Bailey. I saw Dr Portu and she and the tech were both excellent with my girl. She has not been feeling well for a few weeks and we aren’t sure why yet but she got great care and it is nice to have her nail and sanitary trim done. I cannot recommend this vet enough. I was visiting my mother and my 5mo old, 4.5lb Yorkie accidentally ate some of her dogs medicine during a feeding and we needed to rush him to the vet for this emergency as time was of the essence. Marco vet saw us immediately; literally waiting for me to walk through the door and took my little man back and got started within seconds. Every single employee I encountered was kind, compassionate, and supportive as I was very scared. I was updated every few minutes about him and what was going on. The doctor actually left an appointment to handle this emergency firsthand. I cannot thank the techs and doctor enough for taking care of my baby boy.
