Phenomenal staff. We were fortunate to have our Oakley 16 years. The staff helped her transition to 🌈 bridge. Caring, loving, knowledgeable, estimates up front. Excellent experience for a sad time.

Regrettably, I am compelled to rate Manteca Veterinary Hospital one star due to my recent experience. As a long-time customer with over 14 years of patronage, I am no longer able to continue as a client. Recently, I encountered a kitten in urgent need of assistance. The veterinary staff informed me that they were unable to provide immediate help. The earliest available appointment was scheduled for Wednesday. Consequently, I informed them that if they were unable to assist me today, I would seek care elsewhere. I visited Northgate Veterinary Hospital in Manteca, and the staff promptly understood my situation. They were able to examine the kitten within 20 minutes and provide the necessary treatment. 3 years since my first review of MVH and I'm still thrilled. They are even great with puppies! They are so thoughtful of the dogs being nervous. They don't get rough or irritated. The boys love everyone here. Reception. Doctors, techs, everyone is so great. MVH is like being home. Its been 2 year since my original review. I wanted to update to say that this vet office continues to impress me. They have worked tirelessly to help give my rescues a chance at life. I love everyone who works here. I have been taking my dogs to see Dr Arnett for quite a while now. I started taking my last dog, Vasco, when he got up there in age and became a very grouchy old man. He was not nice to them and required a muzzle and medication, but they always treated him with care up until I had to make the hardest decision I have ever had to make in my life. He went peacefully and Dr Arnett and Casey were so helpful, despite him not letting anybody touch him (including me). I started taking my new puppy, Luca, to them and he is a sensitive boy. He loves Dr Arnett, Cassondra, and especially Jackie. Whenever I say their names, his little ears perk up and he'll playfully bark. He can be a little fearful, but they know how to work with him.
