Manheim Animal Hospital

Dr is cheap but has NO clue what he’s doing. Has seen my dog before, yet remembered nothing about him, didn’t even read his chart and barely looked at him for the physical!! Didn’t check his teeth like I asked, then gave us WRONG MEDICINE that ended up with my poor baby in the ER ALL NIGHT!! He gave medication that is meant for dogs with seizures. (My dog is super old and has NEVER had seizures) Supposed to be taken Twice a day mind you. Insane and didn’t apologize either! Veg techs were very helpful and I enjoyed the place, but not the information. Don’t trust this guy with your pets. He needs to retire.

This guy doesn't like dogs. I had my dog go there for 4 years, and I'm not bringing him there again. Vet should like animals. My dog plays with young kids people who don't speak English is good with all dogs and the dog parks. He is gentle with old people/knows to not jump up to frail people or yound people is very gentle. This vet was talking in a voice tone to make my dog scared then muzzled him. Then got in my face before taking it off and said you know your liable if your dog bites someone. I know these are the words of a guy trying to recieve a check for trying to get bit. Don't bring your dogs there people with cats tell me he charges way more too.

At first I liked this vet because he was reasonable and didn’t want to charge you an arm and a leg. Although I always felt like he wasn’t listening to what I had to say and was talking over me. He wouldn’t listen to the problems my dog has and argued with me as if he knew my dog better than me. He said “you have a mean dog and I wouldn’t have kids around him”. He is not a mean dog and I am going to have kids and not going to get rid of my dog either. He also has lived in a house with kids before and was fine so he is wrong with his thoughts. We will be taking our care elsewhere to someone who actually listens to what you have to say. I would not recommend this vet to anyone in the Manheim area. FYI this vet is very outdated and behind on the times.

Dr Mac had been my vet for all my animals since I was a little girl. I'd never go anywhere else!! He's a wonderful man and you can always trust his judgment!!
