Manchester Memorial Hospital

Hands Down Best Around.. I have been to all the hospitals in this area and Manchester Memorial is by far my favorite. Always friendly staff, they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The hospital itself is very clean and smells refreshing. Free parking and parking garage not like all the others in this area that charge, you prefer valet parking? That's free also. Truly a great experience here every time I've come here, whether it's for myself or visiting its always a pleasure.

I had an outpatient procedure on Thursday March 5, 2026. From the nurse who called me to preregister the night before, to the check in at security, to the check in at the unit: it was a smooth experience. All were very nice and friendly, made sure I understood what to do, where to go, made me feel comfortable and welcome. The pre op nurse was very friendly, put me at ease. The nurse who did my IV - which always makes me nervous - she was wonderful, did a great job! Then I met with the OR nurse and the anesthesiologist-very kind, friendly, answered all my questions. I was extremely impressed with the entire process. When I was brought into the OR, the staff introduced themselves, explained what was going to happen, read the procedure and my allergies out loud and brought me warm blankets.

Staff in ED was amazing. Mariola, Letisha and Danielle PA and Dr Boyko all very concerned, compassionate and I knew they had my back. Highly recommend the ED! Arrived in a very nice clean room on 2 E late afternoon. Mel rn very attentive and caring. She, Sonya CNA and Saudia CNA took care of all my needs and made sure I was comfortable as possible.

I arrived at the Ambulatory patient care entrance for an afternoon colonoscopy. I was pleasantly surprised as an employee attired as a doorman opened the passenger side door for me and asked my son who was driving if he wanted to valet park. A quick check in at the desk and a short wait for a nurse to come and get me. The nurses quickly prepared me for pre-op. Unfortunately the doctor was behind an I had to wait an additional 45 minutes from my scheduled procedure, but even so the doctor took her time to talk to me and answer questions. The procedure and post op went smoothly. I was given a small drink and would have preferred another and maybe a little snack, but it was not offered. Most of the employees were gone by this time. The revitalized Manchester Memorial Hospital is an amazing healthcare facility with a highly motivated and talented team of professionals! We can be proud to have the many benefits of this historic but very modern community hospital in our town to serve our region. My surgical procedure went very well largely because of my expert surgeon, Dr. Suede, and his entire capable OR team, with Lisa, RN, and Dr. Almenas and his assistant, Joe Bourassa, CRNA, and the other members who all assisted in my excellent care. My preparations and recovery were fabulous thanks to the caring nurses including Jenn and Tina who made me comfortable and very confident in my outcome.
