Mama Doc Pediatrics

Let me just start by saying Dr. Maggie was amazing the first 4 months for my baby girl. Today we went for our 4 month check up and we saw Dr. Benson. She barely smiled. She did her regular exam on my baby and she started to cry. She didn’t once talk to her or try to console her the whole time. I just wanted her to hurry at that point bc my child was screaming. My baby normally does great in these appointments, but Dr. Maggie has always had great bedside manner. Dr. Benson let us know we were behind schedule on her vaccines (which I knew) and we needed to catch up with 2 today, some more in a week, etc. I told her I didn’t want to do that many and I wanted different ones today than she was originally offering. Mama Docs does not allow you to delay vaccinations at all. You can space them out

I will never be going back SOLELY due to the ladies at the front desk. They are the rudest group of women I’ve ever encountered at a doctor’s office and beyond unprofessional. 90% of the time I don’t get calls or texts with appointment reminders and then get charged a $35 fee for missing an appointment that was scheduled MONTHS in advance AND THEN they will ARGUE with you saying that they tried to call- mind you I never get a VOICEMAIL or even a missed call from them. My last straw was today’s appointment that never happened. I actually got a reminder call yesterday (shocking) for my son’s appointment today at 3:30. It was confirmed then on the phone AND I have a reminder card that said 3:30. Just for me to drive an hour out of my way, get there at 3:20, and then be turned away and told it

We love everyone at Mama Docs! We have been going there for over 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone from the front desk to all of the nurses and providers have taken amazing care of both of my girls ! We have had some scary moments, and they have all been a listening ear to this worried mama. They are never in a rush and answer all my questions. I feel at comfort knowing that I can always call and have my girls seen the same day. They truly make a difference!

The front desk was great, but the Nurse needs to learn how to talk to mothers. My child had a allergic reaction to lavender. according to her I should have read the bottle it states not to use on children less than 6 month of age. I wish she would come show me where it states that because I have read it over multiple times looking for it!

Dr was great. Front staff not so much. I was there at 0916. Appt 0900, got stuck in an accident. Called before unloading the kids to make sure they could be seen still. The lady said we already filled the slot. Btw they have a 15 min grace period. She said I should have called. Im sorry its illegal to make phone calls without handsfree. (I dont have hands free) I quote” You should have called while waiting to get through the acident” .. umm you gonna pay that 50 dollar ticket?? Also i was there before my 15 minute window. But it is what it is. Maybe hirer receptionist that actually have people skills
