Do not go here for mental health or substance abuse issues. They will strip you of your rights and make you wait 3 days just to get a bed somewhere. There was only 1 nurse who seemed to actually care and somewhat understand what I was going through. So god bless her. Food sucks, room was so so cold. They blue papered me and I’ve never once been blue papered till I went to miles. All I wanted was to make sure I was medically okay, and it turned into a 3 day stay at the er and then 2 day stay at the behavioral health facility.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the consistently professional and exceptional service I have received from navigators and front desk staff all the way up to the nurses, doctors, and surgeons in every department I’ve been seen in. I have been going to this health network for all of my various medical needs for over 3 years now and the quality care I have received has positively changed my outlook on my medical needs, most recently having a health scare that was taken seriously, prioritized, and handled with proper follow up. I would like to especially highlight the women’s health department. They are doing a fantastic job creating a safe environment in an often delicate situation.

Poor experience from check in to provider attention to billing...both my husband and I visited the RE with advanced symptoms related to a severe case of poison oak. I wouldn't generally visit the ER for this but it was a pretty bad and needed more attention than calamine lotion. The provider would not listen to my suggestions (what my GP has prescribed to me with prior cases), it generally took too long, and was given OTC treatments because the other treatments were "experimental" and not lab proven for PI in Maine. To top it off, she charged us double for the visit and diagnosis! So unprofessional and lack of attention to detail. Better off to consult with Dr. Google than waste your time here.

Unfortunately I am what ER depts call a frequent flyer. Because pretty near every primary doctor is either incompetent or disinterested resulting in the same old same old, an unnecessary or inappropriate prescription and a referral to some other incompetent or disinterested "specialist", no one ever has figured it out. So when I have a blinding headache with neck pain or vagus nerve irritation resulting in extreme gagging, not vomiting, not wretching, but gagging so hard it like lightning strikes in my skull, or vertigo that prohibits me from laying down and makes me so sick I can't eat or drink, or my blood pressure is up and my heart rate is 47, making me feel as though I will explode or faint....I go to the ER!!!
