Waste of time and money. Doctor had already made a diagnosis before ever laying eyes on me. She determined based on her opinion what was wrong and only ran the tests required to support that opinion. When the tests came back supporting her preconceived notion I was told nothing was wrong and that I should go back to my PCP for further help. When I asked why I had symptoms despite the negative test results and what might have caused the issue in the first place I was told again to just go back to my PCP. They will not help you. They will do the minimum work required. And if they have already diagnosed you in their head they won't reconsider or do any further work to figure out the cause let alone offer any helpful solutions.

Avoid this place at all costs. I waited for three months to get an appointment and on my very first visit the provider never showed up. The inept secretary claimed that she left me a message, 24 mins before my appointment mind you, but I had no voicemails. When i arrived I was told that my appointment was cancelled due to an "unexpected event". I have had health issues for over 20 years and I have NEVER had a provider cancel an appointment! The overweight girl behind the counter insisted that she left a voicemail, I showed her that she was lying. At this point she became flippant and acted like I was wasting her time. I of course left and immediately called my PCP to ask for a referral to Central Maine Endocrinology. If you have no choice and have to come to this den of incompetence at lea

This is the best place to go for endocrinology, whether it's for diabetes or something related to it. I've heard other doctors say that Dr. Brodsky is the best endocrinologist in the state, and I would agree. I've been with Dr. Brodsky's practice since 2007 or 2008, even when he was in Augusta, and then Scarborough, and now Bath. He's absolutely the best! He takes time to listen to you, and he's extremely professional and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else for endocrinology except to see Dr. Brodsky.
