Main Line Health Urgent Care - Oaks

I had a wonderful experience! The receptionists were friendly, the intake nurse was warm and thoughtful and the attending physician treated my problem with care. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure all my concerns were addressed. I was seen within a few minutes of arriving. It was the best experience I have had at an urgent care facility.

Overall the experience was great especially being able to get in line before we got there. The provider asked if we would like a Covid test for our daughter we said no and he still went ahead and did it. I just hope we don’t get charged for that.

The front desk staff member was friendly and professional. It’s really nice when the first person you encounter is top-notch! The nurse was also very pleasant and the PA was very knowledgeable, and took great care of my issue while also friendly. The office was clean and comfortable and the wait time was short throughout. They didn’t call me into the exam room and then leave me waiting. The nurse and PA saw me very quickly which I appreciate! I hope I don’t have the need for urgent care again, but if I do, I will definitely choose Main Line Oaks.

The nurse and general staff were fantastic, kind, efficient, and focused on me and my needs. The NP I saw was rude, curt, and unhelpful. She assumed I had COVID (literally no symptoms and I tested negative and she still assumed I had it), even though I came in with UTI symptoms, and she did not ask me questions about why I came in or how I was feeling. When the COVID and flu tests came back negative (still unclear why they even administered these) she told me I could leave and should just take another COVID test in a few days. I left still in pain and with no help or answers for my discomfort.

I took my son to this urgent care because he had a sore throat. It was a Sunday and my other son and I have both been diagnosed with strep throat. We were greeted in the reception area by a lovely woman, who processed our insurance and charged me a co-pay. Shortly after, the nurse took us back to the treatment room. She performed a throat culture on my son. Moments later, the provider, Dr. Patel, entered the room. He did not make eye contact with me or my son. He asked my son what was going on. My son explained his symptoms, and I explained what was going on at home. The provider looked in my son's throat and said that it didn't look too bad. He did some documenting on the computer, and then walked out to check the results of our throat culture. Moments later, he came back and said that th
