Dr Salam and PA Gopal are very attentive and thorough. They are empathetic and very open with their results and thoughts. I work in the ICU and can say that they’re highly knowledgeable and professional. Healthcare workers notoriously make the worst patients, and it takes a lot for me to want to go to any doctor, but my experience with the GI group has been nothing but positive. If you need a good GI specialist then rest assured you have found one.

I've had 2 procedures at Advent Health Dade City Hospital and I was blown away by the level of care I received. From the anesthesiologist, the doctor who did my procedure, the various nurses & the entire care staff, I felt so taken care of. I felt they truly wanted me to be okay. They took care of me, more so than at any other hospital or medical group I've ever encountered before. Thank you very much to all of you who took care of me while I was a patient there. A huge thank you to Dr. Salam.

TheDoctor was very nice and the staff were fine. I still haven't heard from the doctor's assistant about scheduling an upcoming procedure. She was out to lunch at the time and he said she would call. I been several days since I was told she would call when she got back to the office. 1/6/26..Finally got my colostomy after the preliminary tests. It was at Advent Health Dade City Hospital and done by Dr Salem. Everything went smooth and no problems, although I never even saw the doctor. Change my rating to 4.

Dr Salam took care of me at Advent Dade City when I was admitted for a GI bleed. It was so scary, but he explained everything, he got me to endoscopy and performed and upper GI/ EGD and found the source of the problem. I just had to quickly comment on the outstanding and professional medical treatment I just received. Being with setting up the appointment to the wonderful office staff, all were courteous and helpful. It was obvious from the start that I was in great hands with Dr. Salam. He guided me through the procedure and his hospital staff was terrific. Everyone took the time to explain everything to me and made sure my medical records were correct to the last detail. The nurses and the staff were also terrific. All I can say is that I was in great hands. No Problems after the procedure and I even received a big thank you from the entire staff who participated. Great job everyone!!
