This facility is absolutely unacceptable. The overwhelming smell of feces and urine hits you immediately upon entering, which alone raises serious concerns about cleanliness and patient care. The doors are unlocked, and there is no sign-in or sign-out process to see patients. That means anyone can walk right into the building without accountability. This is a major safety issue for vulnerable residents and their families. Call lights routinely go unanswered for 30 minutes or longer. Many of these residents are bedbound and physically unable to get out of bed, so delayed responses are not just inconvenient—they are dangerous and neglectful. I’ve been visiting residents at Magnolia manor for over 2 years. Over the years, I’ve seen residents bullied, ignored, berated, and intimidated. I’ve routinely seen call lights on and not answered for over 20 minutes at a minimum while staff members would be sitting around talking or on their cell phones. If you questioned someone about answering the call light, you were routinely told that resident was their responsibility, but “they would let their nurse know”. There was an incident that happened the night of January 21st where I and another volunteer tried to get medical attention for a resident who was out of breath just from walking from her bathroom to her bed. I had to give this 1 star as it will NOT allow you not to. Magnolia Manor is straight out of a horror show. This is the second run in with this facility. It is dirty the staff is very disrespectful. They do NOT. Care for the residents. A woman I have been visiting could not breath and the nurse would not come in the room. She was screaming and very disrespectful to her own superior who was trying to take my friends vitals. A terrible place to be. Please do NOT send your loved ones there. There is a woman who is next to my friend who is bedridden, she is stuck on her side with breathing issues. No one moves her it’s very sad and sickening. They literally lie and cover up there mistakes.

I had to give this 1 star being it doesn’t allow you to move forward. This was my second time visiting a friend. The whole place smelled and looked dirty. A patient was having trouble breathing and no one came and checked on her. She also had nothing to drink not even on her table. Luckily I had brought water with me. Staff is rude! There’s definitely elder abuse. Shane on you!

It is a very sad state when a supposed to be " caring" nursing facility filled with elderly vulnerable parents and grandparents are at the mercy of these "caretakers" who on a daily basis are totally ignoring thier needs and letting them rot in their beds. Plagued with a gagging smell of urine and unclean facility. These fine people at the end of thier lives deserve better and your moral responsibility is to make sure that happens !
