MacInnis Dermatology

This was my first visit to this practice and everything went very well. Check in was easy, the staff was friendly and engaging. I saw Amy. She had my records from my previous practice and performed a thorough examination, made recommendations and we set up a follow up appointment.

First of all i had my 6 month f/u scheduled back in May for November. Yet you couldn’t tell me that Dr Swenson had left and that I would be seeing someone new. I find that rude and not very professional. Had my first visit with Kim Gaetz PA. She was nice and knowledgeable but I felt very rushed. The receptionist is extremely nice.

This was my first time at MacInnis dermatology as a recently moved to The Villages and saw my prior dermatologist in Massachusetts for many years. My mom passed from melanoma so it's very important to me to see someone on a regular basis that understands my concerns. In addition, I had a few spots of psoriasis that needed to be looked at. Everyone on the team was friendly and welcoming. I was taken on time and given the appropriate medication for my psoriasis and I felt extremely comfortable with my doctor. It was a great experience overall and I would highly recommend this provider.

Love this place! Easy to get an appointment with no long wait times in the office. Very friendly and professional. They really listen to their patient! Highly recommend.

I am new to this area and am searching for a dermatologist. I called MacInnis to try to get an idea of the cost for an annual visual examination. At first I asked for the price if I were self paying, and was quoted a very large range "depending upon the exact service is provided " (even though I repeatedly specified I was simply looking for a quote for an overall examination ). Next I asked if the price would be more or less by using my insurance. I was told I would have to contact my insurance company for that information. Previous experience has my insurance company telling me to ask the provider. Can you imagine trying to buy a car this way? Then I asked if it were likely they could remove the spot in question the same day of my visit. They said there was a reasonable chance. After
