Lymphedema Therapy Specialists

After developing Lymphedema, most likely due to complications after Covid vaccine / booster, my cardiologist, Dr. Michael Metzger recommended that I start Lymphedema Therapy and continue this treatment with at least 6-9 sessions every 6 months in order to proactively control it and minimize the impact of this non-curable illness. He referred me to Lymphedema Therapy Specialists of Delray Beach and I'm so glad he did. I have now been their patient for few years and the results of their treatments have been wonderful...we are under control! Amazing staff!!! I was able to learn more about Lymphedema here than with the physician who diagnosed me. Each therapist treats you with care & make you feel comfortable. Their receptionist makes sure you feel welcomed & comfortable from the moment you step in & when you leave. I highly recommend this office.

My experience with this lymphedema therapy clinic has been very disappointing. For the first month and a half, I was charged a co-pay even though I had already met my deductible. I only discovered this after contacting my insurance company myself. When I brought it up, instead of refunding me right away, the front desk staff (Rachel) said they would refund me at the end of treatment. It took me three weeks and several follow-up calls before I finally received my refund. There was no apology until I made it clear how unhappy I was about being charged in error. Rachel at the front desk was especially unhelpful. Once I realized I wasn’t getting my refund promptly, I asked to speak to a manager. I have been to various lymphedema therapy places in NY and Florida. This facility is by far the best. Every therapist is professional and well trained. My recent session has been with Kimmi, who was terrific in reducing the swelling in my legs.
