LuxPet Vet

Our pup has an ear infection so we called to make an appointment only to find out that they are closed until the new year. Not sure how long they have been closed, but that will be at least 5 weeks. The name of an alternate vet was provided, but we have called them 3 times over the past 2 days and no one has answered the phone or returned our call. Not sure the reasoning for the closure, but it does seem a bit callous to shut down your practice and not have at least 3 or more vets lined up to cover. 12/2/2025 REPLY TO LUX VET RESPONSE: Neither my husband nor I ever received a return phone call from the alternate vet, let alone an offer of an appointment. Not only is Lux Vet open on the weekends (which is a HUGE perk), they are kind, patient, gentle, and SMART! I felt a great sense of relief after taking my senior kitty to them for bloodwork. Results came back super fast. We got kitty on a great diet plan too! I would recommend taking your besties to Lux Vet!

If I could leave NEGATIVE stars I would!! Our FIRST visit was great and we got plenty of attention. Our Chihuahua got a really nice check up at that time. However, our precious animal got sick and IT FELT LIKE they just didn’t want to be bothered. Our baby was hurting and in need of immediate treatment and medication but they refused.. saying that her entire medical history was necessary before they would give her ANY medication. They KNEW her history on day 1 but wanted documentation from our PREVIOUS clinic. We offered to set up a phone call with her previous doctor but were told the doctor had no time to listen to a phone call. They wanted all her paperwork from multiple years of visits but had no time to talk with the doctor directly!!!?? We had to seek another clinic and the several d

Look, after my experiences with my last two vets, Klaich and Carson Valley, I do not trust veterinarians as far as I can throw them. But, this place has a really great staff and their veterinarians are well trained and truly have the pups well being as their highest priority. Great place to take your family members for the best treatment of what ails them or just a regular check up. I would give them more than a five star rating if it was available!! A definite 10 star rating is deserved, and our Odie agrees

I took one of my clients dogs in for routine vaccines at LuxPet Vet after another dog trainer in town spoke highly of them. They conveniently had a cancellation and fit me in the same day I called (sometimes the stars align 😅). The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the facility was super clean and Dr. Kee was more than confident reading my dog and providing a neutral/positive experience for his first visit with them.
