Luther Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

My mother in law was a resident in the facility for a brief period. I am retired nurse and have worked long term care for over 25 years. Hands down I have never met such an amazing supportive and professional staff from the reception staff welcoming us up to and including the administration staff and the physicians. Every encounter was positive and welcoming. The recreational department takes the win of 2025. It was never a dull moment. Trenise and Jennifer from the business office were beyond exceptional in assisting with the admission process. Making a decision to move a loved one into a facility is not easy. I am glad that we were led to the experience at Luther woods. That was the Lords plan for mom and my prayers are always to put the people in our path that He chooses. I am confiden

My mom has been in Luther Woods for about a week now. This is our first time using the facility. Had a bad experience with the previous facility. So far, the staff has been really good with her. We heard good opinions prior to sending her there

My mum was in this place for physical rehab. Not only do the aids not bother paying attention, bed sheets rarely get changed, food is horrifying. Nobody knows what to do with the elderly that just look lost like a wheel chair is the only thing they know. It's depressing and heartbreaking. On top of it all clothing I lent my mom for rehab was stolen, her $30.00 eye cream was stolen , her lotion and Neutrogena wipes disappeared so to approximate atleast 175 bucks is gone and nobody does anything about it. The roommate was nasty, TV was turned up so high I couldn't hear my mother on the phone. It just goes on and on and on. I would suggest anyone thinking of going here (especially with the smell of urine and feces) to find another place. I will never allow a friend or family member to ever

It is difficult to leave your loved ones in other's care but at Luther Woods, you can expect that they will be treated like family. Highly recommend.

My dad went here for rehab, and I cant say enough good things about this place. Trenice, Kendra, Toni and Nancy gave my dad loving care while he was there (among other staff I didn't have the pleasure of meeting). The patience and professionalism were top notch, and the PT department got him moving and back on his feet in no time. The staff here are literal angels and all deserve a raise. Thank you Luther Woods for the best experience!
