Katarra is such a lovely human and incredible healthcare provider. Her demeanor is so relaxing and kind, amazing energy to have when you’re in a perceivably high stress situation like having a baby. Katarra is so good at listening and then explaining and answering questions. She really tailored our birth experience to our needs, which is the entire point! The prenatal and postnatal care was unmatched. The postnatal care provided by Katarra was so much more in depth and intimate than the usual system. It was what made the entire experience for me. I always felt safe, heard, and in control when in Katarra’s care. She even asked for constructive feedback AND discussed it with us. Katarra is amazing! We feel so blessed to have her as a part of our daughter’s home birth story. She is highly trained and dedicated to her midwifery practice which was a great comfort to us. We loved working with Katarra. She was so patient and communicative throughout our pregnancy. My labor was very short and plans changed, but she supported us calmly and knowledgeably during my home birth with my baby boy. My wife and I had the most amazing home birth experience with Katarra. Her deep and genuine care for us (and baby) was clear at every appointment leading up to the delivery - and during visits after. On the day baby came, she could not have been more calm, assuring and empowering. She was very inclusive of me and our 4/y o son over the months, which made the whole experience particularly special and memorable.
