If I could leave less than one star, I would. I have been with this practice years and the standard of care has significantly declined since Dr. Carnahan joined the practice. As someone with a chronic health condition, I maintain a positive relationship with my care team. This has been next to impossible with this office. I struggle to get appointments, I have been hung up on by a member of the front desk team, and Dr. Carnahan has withheld my medications due to no available appointments. This is unethical health care.

My experience with this Luminis Health Location has been very positive. The staff are welcoming and kind. I've been a few times and feel their rapport is genuine. My husband and myself see Dr. Kevin Carnahan, he has a conservative approach, educating patients first and sharing all options before deciding a care plan has been a game changer. As a patient we are our best advocates and they are great advisors. Since becoming patients we are confident in the medical approach offered at this practice and we feel heard.

Centreville Primary Care has gone through some rough years as one can see from the reviews. However, Dr. Carnahan has righted the ship, and the office is definitely going in the right direction. The receptionist is pleasant and helpful, and she makes sure she deals with your issues right away. For instance, I called in the other day to get patches for seasickness, and the prescription was called in within the hour. That means she discussed the issue with Dr. Carnahan immediately after I called. My annual checkup was a couple weeks ago, and Dr. Carnahan spent close to fifteen minutes with me, answering my questions and making corrections as to what supplements I should take, based on my lab work. This practice used to be great until they got a new doctor. He took my husband off of almost all of his medicine. He is THE most condescending doctor I've ever met. Then I find out he's not even an MD, he's a DO. I told him and the front office staff I wouldn't be coming back and they've called me saying I need to make an appointment multiple times now. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PRACTICE EVER. I walked in to my appointment for OB/GYN at 15 weeks and 4 days gestation. I was referred by 3 different physicians in the family after moving to the eastern shore and realizing my doctor's office back home was a bit too far to keep driving to every month. I walked in for what I thought was an 11:30am appointment at 11:15am and at the reception desk the first thing they ask is "hi what are you here for today?" I said "new ob patient visit for 11:30 am." She says "okay let me check you in" takes 10 minutes to verify my insurance even though I had already given it to her over the phone and then hands me new patient paper work. At 11:32am she comes over to collect it and goes "the provider says she can't see you today" which I respond to and "say oh no what h
