My mother, who suffers from neurological issues, came to Doctors with pneumonia along with two ingested crowns. The ER doctors saw her quickly, performed chest x-rays/CT scans to confirm pneumonia diagnosis. The next morning the surgery team successfully removed the crowns from my mother's Esophagus. My mother was discharged after a weeks stay. The nursing staff was attentive and responsive. My family is so grateful we made a small donation. My mother has been to top NYC hospitals but we were very pleased and fortunate to have access to Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center. Thank you!

This hospital use to be #1 in the county.I use to come here with my husband in 2004. It never took 3 hours to get to the back. Check in was long as well. Triege saw my son, did blood work, put an IV in ,and sent him back in the waiting room. We arrive here at 1030 pm, it is now 130 am and we are still waiting to see the Dr. The. Triege nurses were very caring. Our wait was beyond their control. If I don't have to, ill never come here again. It is now 3:25 am we finally got to the back to see the Dr. Only to wait another 2 hours. Now I realize that the hospital have other patients to see, but this is ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. I can't believe what we are experiencing 😢 . ALL OF A SUDDEN, this young Patients Assistant name Presious came in and saved the day

I Brought dad to ER on Jan 10/26. They immediately ran test. All nurses in ER were outstanding. The nurse made sure he had a meal and that was really appreciated. I hd to repost because it wouldnt be fair to the hard working staff and nurses I want to SHOUT OUT TO DEE the CASE MGR. RAGAN STUBBS REHAB CORD, DENISE WHITE CUST SER, CYNTHIA WILLIAMSON in HOSPITALIST and All the Nurses on 5th floor working w room 526 week of Jan 10th thru 15th. GREAT JOB!!

April 23, 2025- I visited my play-sister today at Doctors Community Hospital ( Luminus) around 11am. The parking lot outside was full, has to ride around several times until someone moved. The sign in station had two nice greeters! I got my visitor badge after showing my ID. Once upstairs in the room with my sister, had the nicest nurses! Everyone was so sweet. I introduced myself and the nurses did their thing. My loved one has C.O.P.D.(chronic obstruction pulmonary disease). 12:20 now the lunch food is coming in: meat loaf, mashed potatoes, fruit cup, and ginger ale. The hospital is quiet and clean. I am impressed! Tentative staff!

My experience at Luminis Hospital Emergency Room started off like it might be okay, but quickly went downhill. The overall environment feels more like a high school gym or cafeteria than a professional emergency room. Staff were joking, mingling, and acting like this was an episode of Grey’s Anatomy instead of a place where people come for urgent care. You’re seen quickly for vitals, and after that good luck. The wait to see a doctor is unreal. When I finally did see one, I had to repeat my issue multiple times, only for the doctor to disappear and never return. Instead, a nurse showed up with discharge papers before I was ever told what was wrong with me or how they planned to help. I left with no answers, no medication, no treatment plan—literally nothing. Just the same issue I came in
