Luis Hurtado, APRN

My first visit to the practice. Experienced a high degree of professionalism beginning with the look and feel of the facility, service provided by the staff and attention to details of the reasons for my visit from APRN Furtado. I was initially concerned that I was not being attended to by an MD since it was my initial visit but subsequently found APRN Furtado to be thorough and personable. The only minor hiccup came after he finished the interview and had left the room only to return after a minute or two to mention an additional treatment option should my condition significantly advance.

This doctor no longer sees patients in the Innovation Tower location. I waited months to see him, when my appointment finally came I went to the location I was given to be told the doctor is no longer at the location. I asked the front desk if they tried to inform me and she looked at the notes and said they wrote me in the mychart app. Mychart app did not send me a notification of the cancelation. The front desk woman even said herself they should have tried to call me but they did not. When I called the Apopka location to reschedule they were going to have me wait all over again another 4 MONTHS. I complained so they said they could put me on a cancelation list. I requested to speak to a office manager and was told April would call me back the same day which she never did. Now I am sure

Everyone in the office was very nice. It was very quick of a wait to see the dr. Dr Hurtado was very kind, took his time and he made me feel like I really mattered, you don't get that from alot of Dr's now days. I recommend this office

i sought out this provider to resume the care i was receiving in a different state and at my initial appointment he implied my symptoms were made up (because i have anxiety), told me i would never be able to fix all of the things i deal with daily, and said i should just try therapy. also would not let me actually describe what i’ve been experiencing or delve into my past at all before making judgments

Everything was fine. I really liked Dr. Hurtado.
